Since earning my B.S. in Finance in 2004 I have garnered over 19 years of experience within the areas of Tax, Accounting, Financial Analysis, and Process Improvement. I started my career as an Accounting Manager for one of the world’s largest food retailers and have since gained continued experience within FP&A, Contract Compliance, and Internal Audit working for major U.S. firms within the Telecom and Oil & Gas industries.

In March 2019, driven by a growing passion for Investing, Personal Financial Planning, and Tax Planning the idea of
KW Financial Services was born.

Fun fact!

I'd be remiss not to mention that my mother, Ms. Peggy "Kay" White provided the primary inspiration for me to turn her small business into my present day full-time reality! Ms. "Kay" (as she was affectionately known) worked as a tax professional and accountant for over 25 years, and was highly revered by all her clients. In 2019 I started to lose interest in the Corporate 9-5 rat race and started thinking back on my mom and her enterprising abilities. At that time I decided to give my then "hobby" a name, "KW Financial Services", (in memory of my mom) and startd taking on clients other than just friends and family. Fast forward to March 2020 and the impact of the Coronavirus Pandemic was the final push I needed to turn in my notice, and move full speed ahead with entrepreneurial spirit ignited within me years ago as a child watching my mom serve her cleints and the community! On Jan 12, 2021 KW Financial Services became an official North Carolina LLC!
